The opening of Atrium Medical Center (Atrium) in December 2007 began a new chapter in the 90-year history of Middletown Regional Hospital. Today the hospital is a 279 bed hospital on the 190-acre Premier Health Campus—Middletown. This uniquely designed health campus brings together a comprehensive array of services and health providers to meet the region's medical needs now and into the future.The hospital employs approximately 2000 employees.
