The opening of Atrium Medical Center (Atrium) in December 2007 began a new chapter in the 90-year history of Middletown Regional Hospital. Today the hospital is a 279 bed hospital on the 190-acre Premier Health Campus—Middletown. This uniquely designed health campus brings together a comprehensive array of services and health providers to meet the region's medical needs now and into the future.The hospital employs approximately 2000 employees. Atrium’s mission is to build healthier communities with others who share our commitment to provide high-quality, cost-competitive health care services.
