The Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assists physicians with invasive
ultrasound-guided procedures. Prepares examinations for interpretation; and assists with maintaining
Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines.
Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in allied health/diagnostic medical ultrasound from an AMA approved school, or program that otherwise meets the requirements to be registry-eligible.
Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
Experience: Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
