Job Description

Nationwide Childrens Hospital is seeking a pediatrician to join our Neonatal Services team. Our current Neonatal Services team consists of Neonatologists, Pediatric Hospitalist, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants that provide care for patients across our network of locations in Central Ohio.Nationwide Childrens is one of the largest networks of neonatal centers in the country caring for more than 3,000 patients each year. As a regional referral center, our Level III Newborn Intensive Care Units and our Newborn Special Care Units specialize in the management of babies with complex birth defects, extreme prematurity and complications of pregnancy, labor and delivery.

As a Neonatal Hospitalist, there are many opportunities available within the Neonatal Service Team. One opportunity is to work within our main campus location providing care to patients approaching discharge. Another option is to work on main campus as a mid-level provider in the small baby program providing care to patients born at less than 27 weeks gestation. With a growing Neonatal Service Team, there is also opportunity to intermix patient populations and patient settings to build an individualized experience for a successfully recruited applicant.

Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in General Pediatrics. Applicants should possess strong clinical skills and a demonstrated commitment to excellence and family centered care.
