Job Description


Performs readings of ophthalmic images for multi center clinical trials using image analysis software and imaging standards. Provide standardized, reproducible measurements of clinical ophthalmic findings. Conduct image receipt tasks, including image verification, image gradeability, importing images into image and grading databases, as well as training of students to perform specified tasks. Read photographs according to reading procedures set forth in the Ophthalmology reading center manual of operations. Assist in future development of reading center techniques and procedures, including SOPs, work instructions, database approval and overall flow of grading processes. Collect and analyze image analysis data; assist medical directors and image analysts 3 with collection of analysis of data for research projects. Assess study images to evaluate treatment efficacy and to identify adverse events. Assess quality of all images read. Maintain assigned equipment facilities including calibration of image analysis monitor and system calibration of workstation PC. Oversee inventory of study image submissions in the grading cue for image analysis, refine physical flow of study image submissions through the reading center to maximize efficiency. Train new image analysts in tasks related to image receipt and analysis software, train and direct students to perform specified routine tasks.Qualifications

Bachelor Degree 2 to 5 years of experience, Digital image and analysis experience required. Bachelors degree required

Schedule/hours- Days 8:00-5:00/ 40 hours per week

Preferred experience: Ability to perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis of study images
